Pharmacies in the United States

Whether you need to pick up a prescription or grab cold medicine, you can find pharmacies here by state and city, from chain drugstores such as CVS and Walgreens to pharmacies inside supermarkets and big-box stores and independent neighborhood pharmacies. Each page shows the address, phone number and opening hours when available, with a map and a "Get directions" link. The near-me search lists the closest pharmacies first. The pharmacy counter often keeps different hours than the rest of the store, and we don't show medication stock or real-time open status, so call ahead when it matters.

Frequently asked questions

Is this pharmacy open 24 hours?

Some pharmacies are open around the clock, but 24-hour service can change and isn't always reflected in our data. Please confirm with the store directly before you go, especially late at night or on holidays.

Are pharmacy counter hours the same as store hours?

Not always. In many drugstores and supermarkets the pharmacy counter opens later, closes earlier or closes for a lunch break while the store itself stays open.

Can I transfer a prescription to a different pharmacy?

In most cases, yes: the new pharmacy can usually request the transfer for you. Rules for some controlled medications are stricter, so ask the pharmacist.

Can I get vaccinated at a pharmacy?

Many pharmacies offer common vaccines such as flu shots, but availability, age requirements and appointment rules vary by state and store. Check the pharmacy's website or call ahead.
