This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the United States section of subeadresleri.com (the pages under /us/), how we use it and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and in plain language.

Who we are

Information we collect and how we use it

We collect information directly from you, for example when you send us a message, and automatically from your browser when you visit the site.

When you use the near-me search, your browser asks for permission to share your location. If you decline, you can still browse by state and city. If you allow it, your browser sends your coordinates to our server, which uses them only to calculate distances and return nearby locations. The coordinates travel in the body of the request rather than in the URL, so they don't show up in our server logs. We don't store your coordinates, link them to you or use them for any other purpose, such as profiling or advertising. You can revoke location access in your browser settings at any time.

Contact form

When you send us a message, we collect your name, your email address, the subject and your message. We use this information only to read and answer your request and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose. To prevent spam and abuse, we don't store your IP address with your message; instead, we keep a salted hash of it that changes daily and is used only to limit how many messages can be sent.

Server logs

Like most websites, our server automatically records technical information about each request, including your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page requested and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the site secure, detect abuse and fix technical problems, and we keep them only for a limited period.

Cookies and local storage

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to protect the contact form against abuse. Your browser's local storage keeps your cookie choice and the category you last selected; this information stays on your device. Analytics and advertising cookies are described below and in our Cookie Policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and which devices and browsers are used. Google Analytics is loaded only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, it is not loaded at all.

When it is loaded, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, time spent on the site, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), device type, operating system and browser. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization in Google Analytics. The data is processed by Google, which may process it on servers in the United States and other countries.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free to use.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Personalized ads are shown only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google shows non-personalized ads, which are based on general context, such as the page you are viewing, rather than on your interests. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies for frequency capping and fraud prevention.

Third-party services

Some parts of the site are delivered by other providers. When your browser loads them, it connects to their servers, which receive your IP address and browser information as part of the normal request.

  • Cloudflare: The site is delivered through Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare processes requests to protect the site and may perform cookieless, aggregate traffic measurement.
  • OpenFreeMap: Map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap.
  • Hosting: Our web server is located in Türkiye, so requests to the site are processed there.

Fonts and the map library are served from our own server; we don't load them from Google Fonts or a third-party CDN. Map tiles are only requested from OpenFreeMap once a map becomes visible on the page.

  • Google Analytics and Google AdSense: See the sections above.
  • Google Maps: When you click "Get directions," you leave our site and Google Maps opens. Google's own privacy policy applies there.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described in this policy: with the service providers listed above that help us run the site, with Google for analytics and personalized ads if you have accepted them, and when required by law, for example in response to a valid legal request.

Your privacy choices

  • Cookie settings: You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics is no longer loaded and only non-personalized ads are shown.
  • Ad personalization: You can also manage ad personalization in Google's Ads Settings and through the opt-out page listed above.
  • Location: You can block or revoke location access in your browser settings.
  • Do Not Track: Browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting, but there is no common standard for how websites should respond to it. On this site, analytics and personalized advertising are controlled by your choice in the cookie banner.

Data retention

  • Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and are then deleted.
  • The rate-limiting hash changes daily and is used only to prevent spam and abuse.
  • Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
  • Location coordinates are not stored.
  • Analytics data is retained by Google according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics property.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please contact us so we can delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and protection against abuse, to safeguard information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The current version is always published on this page.
